Fraternal greetings of solidarity to all RMT Comrades in struggle at Wightlink from PCS DfT Group
DfT Highways Agency Pickets, Bedford, 29th Feb 2008
Successful DfT-wide strike action was called for 29th February over continued below inflation pay. PCS members in the Maritime & Coastguard Agency had their own action on 5th March – the first time the coastguards have gone on strike in their 140 year history. Pay is just the tip of the iceberg of what is wrong with our relations with our employers these days.
PCS members in the DfT Group empathise with their comrades in RMT and send our best wishes of support and solidarity for your strike action scheduled for this Thursday 20th March against the imposition of earlier rosters without agreement.
Yours Fraternally
Paul Williams
On behalf of the PCS DfT Group
